"Summer Shadows" signed etching by listed Italian-American artist Luigi Luccioni (1900-1988). This beautifully detailed etching from 1946, depicts his beloved Vermont countryside. “You can't cope with nature,” Lucioni said. “You can't put in all the little things that nature can do so easily and you can't. So you have to get the essentials of these things, and that is my idea of realism.” Moody, evocative and serene.
