The print is titled "Soldats de la Garde de Charles IX et Henry III" (Soldiers of Charles IX and Henry III's Guard).


This print is part of a larger book by the artist Nicolas Xavier Willemin (1763-1833), titled Monuments français inédits pour servir à l'histoire des arts depuis le VIe siècle jusqu'au commencement du XVIIe, published in 1839.
