Trotsky, dated 1992, depicting Broadway looking south through Times Square. Yellow taxis fill the foreground, their taillights reflected across the wet pavement, while gestural brushwork and subdued light lend the scene an atmospheric, impressionistic quality.

The Palace Theatre sign and the distant silhouette of the Paramount Building anchor the composition within the historic streetscape. The painting captures the energy of early 1990s Manhattan through its traffic, illuminated signage and rain-softened architecture.

Presented in a frame by J. Pocker & Son, New York.
