These vintage 5x7 Persian rugs are a rare set of twin rugs that originate circa 1950-1960. Hand-knotted in silk, the pair hails from the city of Qum, known for its historic masterpieces.
Further on the Design:
These Qum rugs enjoy a regal design with an elaborate all-over pattern of detailed florals, stripes, and several intricate borders. Keen eyes will further admire bronze and cream notes beside more prevalent brick red and black tones in the colorway. The silk's natural sheen lends an elegant touch to an already gorgeous sense of movement—a treat to behold as it catches the light. These are meticulous pieces with rare beauty, and quite exemplary of the many elements that set Persian Qum rugs apart.
