Pierre Gire (1901-1984), alias Pierre d'Avesn. When he started, at 14, he worked at René Lalique for 10 years. During this period, he designed the famous "snake" vase of Lalique as well as the "whirlpool" vase, two of the most expensive and collective pieces of "Lalique". In 1926, he left René Lalique and created his own models. His pieces were produced by the crystal factory of Saint-Rémy. This piece has an attribution mark,
