An elegant 19th-century barber’s mirror on a tall wooden stand, featuring an adjustable mirror, a circular drawer and a graceful tripod base resting on small brass castors.

The rectangular mirror is set within a moulded wooden frame and can be tilted to achieve the desired viewing angle. Beneath it is a compact circular tabletop with a practical drawer. The front is finely decorated with inlaid wood and a small metal knob.

The long central column rests on three curved legs, giving the piece a light and elegant silhouette. Its adjustable height originally allowed the mirror to be adapted easily for different clients and tasks within a barber’s or hairdresser’s shop.

Today, this unusual standing mirror makes a distinctive decorative object for a barbershop, clothing store, bathroom, bedroom or eclectic interior. The circular tabletop can also be used to hold small grooming products, accessories or a decorative plant.

In very good antique condition, with light signs of use, discolouration and patina consistent with its age and original purpose. The mirror tilts, the height remains adjustable and the stand retains its original castors.
