Menadi is a collection of ceramic vases, dancers suspended in the convulsive momentum of a step in an impetuous dance, traversed by the vital energy that makes the world vibrate. In a sculptural and abstract language, they describe the wild dances and initiation rites through which the Maenads were able to merge and become one with God Dionysus. This process was invasive in both the literal and figurative senses of the word; they allowed themselves to be filled with the divine in order to become divine themselves in a mystical and transcendent unification.
