· Subject and Style: Classic and balanced lines composed of a deep, circular, turned basin, supported by a sturdy central spool and balustrade stem and held up by a solid tripod base with curved legs and Baroque-inspired scroll carvings terminating in curls.

· Material and Finish: Fine, thick solid wood with a warm natural finish and satin polish, enhanced by the vivid wood grain and the solidity of the individual turned elements.

· Condition: Very good overall vintage condition, in its original state as found. The wooden structure is sound, heavy, and perfectly stable on the tripod base; the polished surface shows minor, normal signs of aging consistent with its age and use. As shown in the photograph, there is a physiological and natural cracking/graining due to shrinkage of the wood on the edge of the cup, typical of the settling of solid wood over time, which does not affect the structural solidity or the excellent aesthetic impact of the furnishing accessory.
