Spectacular and rare vintage modular sofa (known as the Progetto 21 model), designed by renowned designer Beppe Vida (aka "Mister Luna") for the historic Italian manufacturer Le Coquelicot of Bologna in the 1970s.
This extraordinary corner composition is composed of five modular units (including linear elements, end units with armrests, and a corner unit), characterized by square, compact, and deep volumes, typical of the avant-garde living room design of the mid-1970s (pit sofas/lounge systems). The entire unit is upholstered in a precious and elegant warm gold/mustard velvet, enhanced by a distinctive pleated and draped design along the outer frame and backrests. An iconic, collectible piece of modern antiques, perfect for adding character to large reception rooms, retro-inspired lofts, or exclusive living spaces.
