An Edwardian period English photograph frame, hallmarked in London in 1905.
The 925 sterling silver front features a rocaille-inspired relief decoration of putti, foliate scrolls, volutes, and mascarons.
Visible hallmarks include: the lion passant, hallmark for sterling silver; the leopard's head, hallmark of the London Assay Office; and the date letter "k," corresponding to the year 1905.
The back is lined in green velvet with an articulated stand for vertical display.
Dimensions: approximately 19 × 14 cm. Gross weight: approximately 350 g, including the frame, back, glass, and other non-silver components.
