Each of the two pieces consists of two tapered, grooved metal bodies that meet in the center. The horizontal grooves create a strong graphic effect that complements Space Age, Mid-Century, and 1970s interiors beautifully.

The multifunctional design is particularly interesting: The top lids can be removed to reveal the interior.

This allows the stools to also be used as small storage units. The insides of the lids are finished in different colors—one light blue, the other white—creating a surprising contrast to the brushed aluminum surface.

The individual elements can also be disassembled and arranged or stacked in various ways.

Condition: Good, authentic vintage condition with visible signs of age and use. The aluminum surfaces show minor scratches, abrasions, pressure marks, and a few slight dents or irregularities. Signs of wear are particularly visible on the lids. The patina complements the industrial, sculptural character of the pieces.

The colored interiors also exhibit age-related wear and soiling.
