It is the sought-after pre-war version made of German porcelain, recognizable by its double historical markings: The mirrored insulating sleeve is precisely marked with the coveted D.R.P. (Deutsches Reichs Patent - German Reich Patent). The interior is an ivory-glazed porcelain pot with finely grooved walls, bearing the original Bauscher Weiden, Bavaria, Germany porcelain stamp, which is intact. The pot is encased in a spherical chrome thermal sleeve lined with insulating felt, keeping tea pleasantly hot for hours. The characteristic small ball feet add an elegant touch and have developed an authentic patina over the decades, further enhancing the pot's unique vintage charm. We have thoroughly cleaned and carefully maintained this teapot. The porcelain is in excellent, intact condition, without any cracks or chips. The mirrored metal casing and the inner felt lining show honest, age-related signs of wear that tell its story and attest to its authenticity. See less
