Traditionally a status symbol owned by the head of a household, every stool is shaped freehand — so its lines, patterns and proportions are unique. Light enough to move yet sculptural enough to hold a room, they were made for rest, work and gatherings. A smaller piece, lovely as a low plant stand, a footstool or a sculptural accent. As a hand-carved natural-wood piece, expect small cracks, tool marks and tonal variation — the character of a genuine handmade artifact.
