Slim wall rails and thin metal fittings support the shelves, while a neat drawer module with two drawers provides space for things you want to store away. The combination of open surfaces and closed storage makes the furniture equally useful in the living room as in the study.

the system was designed by poul cadovius for cado and is part of the royal system, which was introduced in 1948. Cadovius' idea was to move storage from the floor to the wall and thus create more space in the home. The construction was a significant success in danish furniture design.

this includes four teak wall rails, fifteen shelves in three different depths and a drawer module with two drawers. The placement of the shelves and drawers can be changed along the rails and between the three sections, so you can adjust the distances for books, ceramics and other objects. The varying depths provide both practical storage surfaces and a living whole.

poul cadovius (1911–2011) was a danish furniture designer, inventor and entrepreneur. He founded his furniture manufacturing company in 1945 and became particularly known for his flexible, wall-mounted systems. Cado is closely associated with his design and the danish tradition of function, material feel and elaborate details.

a spacious piece of furniture that offers plenty of space without feeling heavy. The open construction allows the wall to be seen and highlights the color and grain of the teak.
