This elegant vintage porcelain vase is crafted in the classic Meiping (plum blossom) silhouette, featuring a broad, high shoulder and a body that gracefully tapers to a narrow base. The vessel is decorated in vibrant underglaze cobalt blue against a pristine white ground. The main body depicts a continuous figural scene set within a traditional garden, featuring two figures (appearing to be scholars or ladies) holding books, surrounded by a stylized balustrade, gnarled pine trees, and large, pierced scholar's rocks. The shoulder is encircled by a band of stylized floral scrollwork, and the lower section is finished with a border of upright panels containing auspicious symbols. The flat, unglazed base shows a natural, rustic finish with visible concentric wheel-throwing marks.
