This is a striking and substantial vintage rectangular tray, crafted with a dark ebony wood (黑檀木) frame and a vibrant cloisonné enamel center panel.
The tray features a raised gallery edge with rounded corners, accented by brass-toned metal caps at each corner. The central panel is a brilliant example of cloisonné enamel work, set against a rich, golden-orange geometric "cracked ice" background. It depicts two dynamic, five-clawed dragons—one green and one red—confronting each other across a central flaming pearl and a red "Shou" (longevity) character, surrounded by stylized blue and green auspicious clouds.
The exterior of the wooden frame has a recessed panel with a black lacquer finish, featuring four large, gilded Chinese characters reading "聚興堂記" (Ju Xing Tang Ji), which likely refers to a shop or hall name. The wood displays a fine, straight grain. This impressive piece is perfect for serving tea or as a striking decorative accent on a coffee table or console.
