An elegant Limoges fine porcelain coffee service, signed Raynaud & Co., comprising eight cups and matching saucers. The decoration, executed entirely in shades of pink and carmine red, depicts delicately crafted bouquets of roses and peonies, different on each piece, in the tradition of French floral designs. The saucers are edged with a double burgundy rim, and the cups feature an angular handle characteristic of early 20th-century production.
The authenticity of this set is attested by the cobalt blue stamp on the back, depicting a swan surrounded by the inscription "Raynaud & Co - Limoges," allowing us to date this service to the 1900s. The unglazed bases of the cups display the slightly earthy patina typical of pieces of this age, with no visible chips or cracks.
