It has four deep drawers with chrome wire handles, slim tapered legs and a body veneered in ash with a strong, lively grain. The wood has a warm honey colour, and each drawer front has its own pattern, so the whole piece looks rich without being heavy.

i really like the small details on this one: the side panels rise slightly above the top and frame it, the base has neatly angled corners, and the handles sit low and flat, which gives the front a clean, graphic look. The back is veneered as well, so the chest can stand in the middle of a room or by a sofa, not only against a wall.

at 60 cm wide it fits almost anywhere: in a bedroom as a dresser, in a hallway, in a living room for records or glassware, or next to a bed as an oversized nightstand. The top is roomy enough for a lamp, a vase or a little bar corner.

the chest is sturdy and in good vintage condition. It shows light signs of age and use, as you'd expect after sixty years, and everything is visible in the photos.
