This is an elegant, cylindrical porcelain brush pot (bitong), crafted in the classic Chinese blue and white style. The exterior features a dynamic, hand-painted scene of multiple five-clawed dragons soaring amongst stylized auspicious clouds, rendered in vibrant cobalt blue against a creamy white ground.
The vessel is finished with a distinct, bright green glazed interior, a gilded rim, and a blue line at the base. The underside bears a six-character apocryphal reign mark in underglaze blue reading "Da Qing Yong Zheng Nian Zhi" (Made in the Yongzheng Reign of the Great Qing). Traditionally used by scholars to hold calligraphy brushes, this visually striking piece also serves beautifully as a decorative vase or a sculptural accent on a desk or shelf.
