Such handkerchiefs were sold during the Spanish American War by the US Government for citizens to show support. This beautiful handkerchief is matted with a narrow blue, then a wider rose red to match the colors. The gilt gold frame has attractive beading that highlights the slogan and art work. The painting is framed within a diamond shape. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Length from top to bottom=8-1/2 inches, Diameter=12-1/2 inches, Depth from front to back=1 inch.
