This beautiful, baluster-shaped ginger jar is crafted in the traditional cloisonné enamel technique. The exterior features a deep, rich cobalt blue ground heavily decorated with a dense pattern of small, stylized floral blossoms. Interspersed among the flowers are several large, vibrantly colored butterflies in shades of light blue, teal, and pink, adding a dynamic and graceful element to the design.
The jar comes with a matching domed lid and features exposed, polished copper rims at the mouth and base. The interior is finished in a striking, solid turquoise enamel. This striking vessel is perfect for display on a mantel or shelf, and its generous size also makes it a wonderful decorative storage container for tea leaves or small items.
