This elegant rectangular serving or tea tray features a striking juxtaposition of materials. The center is inset with a polished slab of natural marble (or stone), displaying beautiful, organic veining that resembles a traditional misty mountain landscape. The top right corner features calligraphic text and a red artist's seal, celebrating the natural beauty of the stone.
The marble is securely framed by a rich, dark-toned wood structure, meticulously carved to resemble bamboo stalks with distinct nodes. The frame features four raised cylindrical corner posts, with slender bamboo-form rails connecting them to create a lifted gallery edge. The tray sits on a solid wood base, and the overall design conveys a sense of traditional Asian elegance and the auspicious symbolism of "rising higher step by step" (bamboo).
