Pair of teak bedside tables with internally divided drawer and suspended woven rattan basket. Model 35 by Severin Hansen for Haslev Møbelfabrik, Denmark, 1960s.
Designed by Severin Hansen for Haslev Møbelfabrik in the 1960s, the Model 35 bedside tables are made of teak and feature slender, tapered legs, precisely connected to the top band. Each piece features a drawer with internal compartments and a suspended woven rattan basket, a solution inspired by the sewing table model and later also used as a side table or bedside table. The design reflects Hansen's attention to light proportions, meticulous construction details, and the integration of different materials, recurring elements in his furniture produced by Haslev. One of the two tables has a burn mark on the top that has undergone conservative restoration. Good condition. May show signs of aging. This piece has an attribution mark,
