A striking large wooden vessel believed to be of Himalayan origin, possibly from Nepal or Northern India. Reminiscent of traditional Himalayan wooden milk and storage pots, this distinctive piece features an elongated silhouette, gently flared opening, rounded shoulders, and a richly weathered dark brown patina.
Appearing to be carved from a single substantial piece of wood, the vessel displays finely incised concentric bands, natural variations in tone, and warm reddish-brown undertones revealed through its aged surface. Its elegant proportions and understated detailing give it a beautifully sculptural presence.
Standing approximately 15.5 inches tall, this vessel makes a statement on a console table, fireplace mantel, entryway table, or as a standalone decorative accent. Its organic character complements wabi-sabi, organic modern, rustic, minimalist, and thoughtfully collected interiors.
