This is a striking and vibrant pair of matching cloisonné enamel vases. Featuring an elegant, elongated bottle form with a slender neck and a bulbous body, each vase is finished with polished, gold-toned brass rims and bases.
The bodies are covered in a bright, golden-yellow enamel and heavily decorated with intricate, wire-outlined motifs. The vases are designed as a complementary pair: one features a dynamic, blue-scaled dragon, while the other depicts a colorful phoenix (fenghuang) in shades of pink, green, and blue. Both are surrounded by stylized, swirling white and pale blue clouds and small, colorful floral accents. The high-gloss enamel finish gives the pieces a luminous, jewel-like quality.
On the flat, brass underside of each vase, there is a recessed square seal containing four characters. These eye-catching pieces serve as stunning decorative accents for a mantel, shelf, or collector's display.
