About the Item

Created in 2000, this striking hand-blown art glass vase belongs to Tom Philabaum's distinctive Reptilian Series, celebrated for its unusual surface patterns and richly textured visual effects. The tall, cylindrical form features a deep smoky blue-purple body with shimmering violet, lavender, and cobalt iridescence. An intricate network of dark, interconnected lines surrounds rounded, scale-like patterns that evoke reptilian skin, giving the vase its distinctive name and compelling organic character.
