Magnificent asymmetrical ceramic jug, entirely hand-molded, decorated, glazed, and finished, and double-fired at high temperatures to secure the glazes and the different surface textures. Under the base is the elegant official brand, hand-painted in black, graphically depicting the three-towered fortress, an unmistakable iconographic symbol of the avant-garde Umbertide factory. It is flanked by the wording "Italy" and the cursive signature "S. Umbria," certifying its absolute authenticity. The sculptural and slender shape is distinguished by a strong vertical development with an integrated handle and a spectacular asymmetrical "cartoccio"-shaped spout, a perfect expression of the Mid-Century Modern and Space Age style of the 1960s. The exterior features a sophisticated, textured, cream-colored finish, embellished with a raised insert simulating a stylized geometric buckle with an arrowhead. This element is coated in an extremely glossy, crystalline orange glaze, creating an exceptional chromatic and tactile contrast with the rest of the jug's surface. The interior of the jug is also entirely glazed in the same glossy, mirror-like orange hue, typical of Umbertide ceramics.
