Vintage Meissen Porcelain Breakfast Trio Set, "Weinlaub" Pattern, 20th Century
An elegant three-piece porcelain breakfast/tea set (trio) from the renowned Meissen Porcelain Manufacture (Germany).
The set is designed in the timeless "Neuer Ausschnitt" (New Cutout) form and showcases the legendary, hand-painted underglaze chrome-green "Weinlaub" (Vine Leaf / Voller grüner Weinkranz) decor. It consists of a tea/coffee cup, a matching small saucer, and a larger dessert plate. All pieces feature the iconic underglaze blue Meissen crossed swords mark on the reverse.
Please note that this is a composite set with mixed factory sorting:
• Cup & Large Dessert Plate (18.5 cm): Officially marked as second quality (2. Wahl) by the manufacture. However, the factory grading lines are purely formal, as there are no visible cosmetic blemishes or production flaws to the naked eye.
• Small Saucer (13.5 cm): First quality (1. Wahl), in pristine factory grading.
Condition
Superb vintage condition. Visually flawless and exceptionally well-preserved. There are absolutely no chips, cracks, hairline fractures, or post-factory restorations. The underglaze green vine leaves are crisp and vibrant, and the white porcelain body retains its brilliant, high-gloss original glaze without any signs of utensil wear.
