Pair of vintage oval wall plaques featuring two distinct classical female busts modeled in dramatic high relief. Each portrait projects prominently from a finely textured ground and rests above a sculptural foliate pedestal.
Ornate oval surrounds combine raised floral and scrolling decoration with beaded inner borders. An antiqued silver-tone finish is accented by darker recessed areas, emphasizing the dimensional modeling and richly detailed surfaces.
At 18 inches high, the coordinating plaques have substantial visual presence while remaining lightweight. Particularly effective displayed as a symmetrical pair beside a mirror, over a console, or incorporated into a salon-style gallery wall.
