Its decoration combines broad drips of black glaze with coppery-pink areas, enlivened by a multitude of small cells and irregular dots. The striking surface, with its slightly volcanic appearance, contrasts with the smoother, lustrous glaze of the neck.

The deliberately limited palette and rich textures give this piece a distinctly 1970s aesthetic, both rustic and graphic.

It is in perfect condition. Original Steuler Keramik label preserved.
