These six coffee cups and saucers, produced by the German manufacturer Schirnding Bavaria in the 1970s, boast a distinctly 1970s design. On the white porcelain, broad bands of orange, brown, and ochre create a striking interplay of curves, typical of this decade that favored bold colors and geometric patterns.
Based in Bavaria, the Schirnding factory distinguished itself particularly with its porcelain tableware, featuring designs that closely followed the evolution of taste throughout the 20th century.
with their low, generous shape, these cups make a beautiful statement on the table. Their warm color palette pairs particularly well with dark wood, teak, and contemporary interiors that embrace the 1970s.
A coffee set full of character, as pleasing to use as it is to look at.
The set is in excellent condition.
