A striking vintage French ceiling pendant attributed to SEE Delmas, featuring an elegant sculptural solid brass frame, beautifully curved metalwork and a distinctive frosted glass shade finished with original golden textile fringe.
The light's dramatic circular silhouette creates a wonderful sense of movement, with sweeping brass curves surrounding the softly rounded glass shade. Its warm antique brass patina complements the champagne-amber tones of the glass, while the decorative golden fringe adds a luxurious finishing touch.
Combining elements of French vintage design, Art Deco Revival and Hollywood Regency, this unusual pendant makes a beautiful statement piece for a living room, bedroom, entrance hall or dining area.
The original manufacturer's label reads SEE DELMAS, with an additional Monteuse 134 marking, believed to relate to assembly or production.
The combination of solid brass, softly diffused glass and decorative fringe gives this piece a timeless character, equally suited to traditional interiors and eclectic contemporary spaces.
