Add a touch of whimsy and rustic charm to your space with this delightful vintage Shiwan Kiln glazed ceramic sculpture.
This piece features an adorable brown rabbit playfully peeking out from a large, golden-brown gourd, surrounded by intricately sculpted green leaves and a vibrant yellow blossom. The contrast between the unglazed, matte texture of the rabbit's fur and the glossy, rich glazes of the gourd and foliage highlights the exceptional, lifelike craftsmanship of traditional Chinese Shiwan pottery.
In Chinese culture, the gourd (hulu) symbolizes good fortune, health, and longevity, while the rabbit represents peace and abundance. Standing at 11 inches tall, this charming sculpture makes a wonderful conversation piece for a console table, bookshelf, or as a unique addition to a cottagecore or eclectic decor scheme.
