Expertly potted by the renowned Sachsische Porzellan Manufaktur (founded by Carl Thieme in Potscappel), the vessel displays a tactile moulded basket weave texture across its white porcelain body.
The exterior is beautifully adorned with hand=painted, vibrant summer floral sprays (Deutschblumen) executed in bright overglaze enamels. A standout characteristic of Carl Thieme's celebrated studio artistry is the hand-sculpted three-dimensional applied rosebud finial nestled atop the lid, complete with delicate applied leaves. Finished with refined, hand-gilded line trim, this piece carries historical and decorative collectible value.
The underside features the factory's registered underglaze blue "SP Dresden" mark, confirming its authenticity and early 20th-century lineage. This piece has an attribution mark,
