Faber-Castell dates back to the 1950s and impresses with its extremely robust mechanics and timeless industrial aesthetic. The housing is presented in the typical, slightly greenish hue of the fifties and proudly bears the original Faber-Castell brand mark. The ingenious design demonstrates how durable quality tools were manufactured back then: The pencil is inserted at the front and precisely clamped using the two handles on top. The hand crank at the back sharpens the pencil evenly – as soon as the resistance eases, the perfect point is achieved. All wood shavings are neatly collected in the integrated plastic container. Especially practical for everyday desk use: The solid clamp for table mounting can be flexibly attached in various directions, allowing the sharpener to be mounted on the edge of the desk as desired.
