Vintage landscape painting depicting snow-covered mountain peaks, evergreen trees, and a winding snowy valley in a rich palette of blue, white, and deep green-black. Textured brushwork brings definition to the rugged mountains, while softly blended snow and sky create a quiet, atmospheric setting.
The painting is signed at the lower right, appearing to read “G. Stephens 76.” The name “Glenda Stephens” is handwritten on the reverse stretcher. The artist’s identity has not been independently verified.
A substantial dark-stained wood frame with a deeply textured, rustic surface complements the mountain landscape. A cream-colored fabric liner and narrow wood inner trim provide a warm contrast to the cool blue composition.
An appealing vintage accent for a mountain retreat, rustic living room, traditional study, or collected interior.
