This piece masterfully combines aesthetic elegance and supreme functionality, perfectly representing the "Space Age" trend and the cocktail culture of that era.

Design and Attribution:

The design of this coffee table is strongly attributable to the avant-garde Italian craftsmanship of the 1970s, echoing the geometric lines and use of contrasting materials typical of the Milanese and Turin schools of design at the time. The structure closely recalls Cesare Lacca's bold style and spatial exploration, as well as the modernist and industrial influences of the Bauhaus school, applied to luxury Italian furniture. The combination of the rigidity of the metal tube and the softness of the bent wood is a hallmark of the excellent craftsmanship of those years.

Key Features:

• Integrated Bar Compartment: One end features a semicircular curved wood structure housing a bar shelf with three chromed metal/polished aluminum bottle holders, perfect for displaying liquors or decanters.
• Premium Materials: Heavy-gauge chromed tubular steel frame, base and bar module in curved veneered wood (walnut/teak finish), and top in thick, dark smoked glass with rounded corners.
• Mobility: The base is equipped with retractable swivel casters, allowing the table to be easily moved and oriented within the living room.

Condition:

The table is in excellent vintage condition. The smoked glass is intact with no chips, the chrome is polished and free of significant rust spots, and the wooden frame retains its original warm finish (only very slight signs of aging consistent with the age of the piece, testifying to its authenticity).
