The focus is a beautifully arranged corner of a room, featuring a rustic table topped with a crisp white tablecloth and a ceramic pitcher filled with warm autumn flowers. Light softly streams in through a window, draped with a classic, dramatically gathered white valance curtain, casting a serene glow over a cozy, unmade bed or sofa in the foreground.

lilli margareta tirén (often spelled lilly) was a listed swedish painter, illustrator, and cartographer born on the picturesque island of frösön in jämtland, sweden. She grew up in a prominent artistic family—she was the niece of the famous swedish painters johan and karl tirén. Lilli studied at the renowned wilhelmsons målarskola in stockholm (1916–1917) and later expanded her artistry through studies in munich, vienna, and rome. While she worked professionally as a mapmaker, she spent her life capturing the wild wilderness, northern landscapes, and cozy, quiet everyday moments of sweden through her art.
