The center is adorned with a molded decoration in low relief (scrolls and tendrils), characteristic of decorative productions from the second half of the 19th century, particularly English ceramics, such as Nantgarw and Minton porcelain.

Nantgarw and Minton ceramics inspired by Victorian taste.

The rectangular shape suggests its use as a serving platter, presentation tray, or meat platter.
