The vase has a strict, minimalist rectangular silhouette that rests on a heavy foot of clear glass. Its main feature is the beautifully organic and heavily textured surface – often called "ice glass" or "bark structure" – which catches and refracts the light in a fantastic way. The glass has a sophisticated, light smoky blue tone that seamlessly fades out and becomes completely clear down at the solid bottom. An excellent and highly decorative collector's item that is a typical example of the popular Nordic ice aesthetic that characterized glass art during the mid-20th century.
