The round, light marble top sits within a robust walnut frame, supported by four gracefully curved legs that hold a second shelf. The wood is veneered, highlighting its warm grain, while the marble top displays its natural texture.

The maker and designer are unknown, but the style suggests European craftsmanship of the 1950s. The table is in good condition: the walnut bears the typical patina, the marble shows a few fine signs of use, and the construction is stable. This is a table that has held magazines, coffee cups, and probably even the occasional lace doily—and will continue to do so.
