Large mid-century teak sideboard by Axel Christensen for ACO Møbler, 1960s.
Very wide, low design with four sliding doors and a centrally located drawer unit. The fronts display a continuous teak grain and are framed by a softly rounded border. The sideboard stands on slender, tapered wooden legs.
A highlight is the four drawers with their elegantly curved recessed handles. The drawers feature visible joinery. The sliding doors also have narrow, hand-crafted handles.
Behind the sliding doors are spacious storage compartments with adjustable shelves. The sliding doors allow the individual compartments to be opened and closed completely.
