:
Chest made of fir wood, with a flat lid attached to the structure by two long wrought-iron strap hinges. The sides are equipped with forged iron handles to facilitate moving the piece of furniture.

The main facade is vertically divided by flat pilaster elements, defining three rectangular sections. Within each section, a panel painted in an orange-red color stands out, bordered by a dark perimeter. In the lateral panels, the corners are enriched with quarter-circle motifs.

The base of the chest features a shaped apron displaying the date of execution "1793" painted in red. In the center of the front panel is a shield-shaped wrought-iron escutcheon, complete with its original key and lock. The interior of the chest features the traditional side compartment on the left side, fitted with a small hinged lid.

Interventions carried out on all our furniture:

– Structural restoration: restoration of small missing parts, filling of any cracks on the back panel, consolidation of deteriorated areas, inspection and repair of ironwork.
– Thorough woodworm treatment.
– Cleaning and sanitization of the interior.
– Exterior finish with natural beeswax.
– Interior finish with shellac, a natural alcohol-based varnish. See less
