Low two-door carved wood buffet, Louis XV style, 18th century
An elegant low buffet opening with two molded and carved doors,
surmounted by two drawers in the front. It features a rich carved decoration of rocaille motifs,
foliage and scrolls, highlighted by fine moldings and beaded borders.
The drawers are adorned with patinated metal handles and keyhole escutcheons.
The front is punctuated by a central upright carved with a floral rosette motif.
The shaped lower rail, decorated with a carved relief and a central medallion,
rests on cabriole legs ending in scrolls.
The top has a simple design that contrasts harmoniously with the rich decoration of the front.
The antique patina and the warm tones of the wood enhance the carving.
The interiors are meticulously finished and glazed.
