Each bed is articulated by a low platform formed by two longitudinal sections perforated with a regular sequence of circular openings. The structure rests on robust, rounded legs and is completed with a wide, detachable headboard.

The alternation of the different wood pieces and tones creates an attractive mosaic effect, making the construction system itself the main decorative element. The geometric repetition of the perforations and the solidity of the volumes also lend a distinct architectural and sculptural character.

Their functional and refined design falls within the modernist language developed during the 1970s and 80s, with clear affinities to Brutalist aesthetics due to the importance given to the honesty of the material, the visible structure, and the strength of the essential forms.

A striking and unusual pair of beds, particularly well-suited to modernist, brutalist, or contemporary interiors.

They are in good overall condition, with minor signs of wear consistent with their age. Both structures are solid and stable.
