A beautiful and very rare antique Victorian chest of drawers by Heal and Son. It was made for a retailed by Heal’s in London, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.
The quality is outstanding, this is beautifully designed and is a very useful size. It is tall and slim, with lots of storage space in the many drawers. The lower drawer is built into the plinth base, so contains extra deep storage space. This has a gorgeous colour tone and striking grain patterns, the handles are beautifully fashioned in the naval style.
We have had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. Some very minor and normal age related wear and patina remain here and there.
