This type of stool, characteristic of traditional Ethiopian craftsmanship, was used daily in homes and rural cafes, particularly in the Jimma region. Carved into a simple, sculptural form, it is distinguished by its thick, round seat, supported by three irregularly curved legs, each slightly different.

The woodwork is intentionally left raw, revealing the imperfections, variations in texture, and marks left by the handcrafting process.

A primitive piece with a unique character, equally appealing as a small occasional seat or as a decorative object. See less
