These stylish lamps were … Read more Stunning pair of first-edition gatto cocoon table lamps with a marvelous, uniform beige warm natural patina. These stylish lamps were designed by achille and pier giacomo castiglioni and produced by flos in italy during the 1960s. The lamps still retain their original flos labels on the inside. Completely original and in incredible condition, with no tears or rips and an incredibly attractive vintage beige color. The effect when lit is simply spectacular, with a warm, relaxed and inviting glow. The iconic gatto table lamp is made with an internal curved steel structure covered in a special soft cocoon resin. The resin has developed a beautiful, uniform patina that has given it a wonderful beige color. Professionally rewired and tested, compatible with both us and eu/uk standards, each lamp uses a single e14 light bulb. An incredibly rare and iconic pair of italian table lamps, perfect for completing a mid-century-style project.
