Named after characters in Philip K. Dick’s science fiction novels, Starck’s early 1980s designs represent a watershed moment in contemporary design history.

Philippe Starck’s early catalog is currently experiencing a massive global resurgence in demand, making rare, stamped mid-80s pieces like this highly coveted acquisitions for discerning collectors, interior architects, and design museums alike.

Produced in limited, sequential series rather than industrial mass numbers, these tables required complex metal craftsmanship and manual assembly, making each surviving piece exceptionally rare.
Today, only a handful of examples surface globally each year.

The table is a triumph of both sculptural form and functional genius.
It features three dramatic, aerodynamically tapered legs crafted from metallic gray lacquered steel.

For ultimate versatility, the engineering is brilliant: the tabletop can be effortlessly detached from the base, and the tripod legs fold seamlessly together into a compact, remarkably slender form.

This investment-grade piece features the original manufacturer's stamp and marking on the underside, cementing its absolute authenticity.

Condition Report:
Excellent restored vintage condition. The tabletop and the iconic tripod legs have undergone a meticulous professional restoration to preserve and revive their sleek, smooth metallic finish.
True to its age and original materials, there is minor, localized surface rust tucked away under the bottom edges of the underside.
This is completely invisible during display and does not affect the structural integrity or the smooth operation of the folding mechanism.
