Patijn for the renowned furniture manufacturer Zijlstra Joure, this piece originates from the highly coveted "Poly-Z" series. This iconic type of modular wall system offered an innovative and elegant storage solution for post-war interiors in the 1950s. The design is celebrated for its warm walnut veneer, sophisticated brass details on the legs, and the characteristic combination of open shelving, hinged doors, and an integrated drop-front cabinet—traditionally used as a stylish home bar or secretary desk. Unique Corner Layout and Craftsmanship. This specific wall unit stands out due to its rare layout, featuring a beautifully integrated curved corner section with a matching rounded cabinet door. The warm wood grain instantly adds character, while the tapered legs fitted with adjustable brass feet ensure the cabinet stands perfectly level on any flooring.
